Partial results mean the lab was able to complete some of your tests but ran out of sample before finishing the rest. When this happens, we release the results that are ready so you can see them right away, and we automatically send you a free replacement kit so the remaining tests can be completed from a new sample. The results you've already received are accurate and final — partial results are not incomplete or unreliable, they simply reflect the tests the lab was able to run.
What partial results mean
Your test order may include several markers or panels. If the lab processes as many as it can but doesn't have enough sample left to complete all of them, it reports the completed results and flags the remainder as needing a new sample. The partial results you receive are final for those specific markers.
What happens next
There is no cost for the replacement collection kit when a new sample is needed for lab analysis.
We release your partial results so you can review what's already been completed.
We automatically send a free replacement kit on your same order for the tests that still need a sample.
You'll receive an email and a text message with new tracking information when the replacement kit ships.
When the kit arrives, collect a new sample following the instructions included and ship it back using the prepaid mailer.
The lab completes the remaining tests from your new sample, and those results are added to your record.
You don't need to repeat any tests that already came back. The replacement covers only the markers still waiting.
Which tests are still pending
If you're not sure which tests are complete and which are still waiting, contact our support team through chat. We can review your order and tell you exactly which markers are pending so you know what to expect from the replacement.
