A licensed physician reviews your results. This physician is licensed in your state and is assigned to your test when you register your kit. The same physician who authorizes your test is the one who reviews your results once the lab has finished processing your sample.
How your reviewing physician is assigned

What the assigned physician does
Once the lab returns your results, the assigned physician:
Reviews all results, with particular attention to any that are abnormal or critical
Directs the care team to reach out to you if a result needs follow-up — this contact may be by phone, email, or text
What the assigned physician does not do
The physician assigned to your test reviews results within a wellness and health optimization context. These tests are not for diagnosing disease. Your assigned physician is not a substitute for your own doctor and does not have access to your full medical history.
