Your at-home test result is not a medical diagnosis. At-home lab testing is designed for wellness and health optimization — it helps you understand where your biomarkers fall, track changes over time, and have better-informed conversations with your healthcare provider. What do my results show?
Your results provide educational information about your biomarkers — where they fall at the time of collection and how they may trend across multiple tests. Every order is authorized and reviewed by a licensed physician, and your results are reviewed when they come back from the laboratory. If any result is critical or abnormal, the reviewing physician will contact you directly.
What your results are NOT
Your results are not any of the following:
A diagnosis of a disease or medical condition. A diagnosis requires clinical evaluation by a qualified healthcare provider, which an at-home test cannot replace.
A treatment plan. Any clinical guidance about your results — including medication changes, lifestyle interventions, or follow-up testing — should come from a qualified healthcare provider who knows your full history.
A substitute for in-person care. At-home testing is one data point, not a comprehensive medical evaluation.
What to do if you have symptoms or a known condition
If you have symptoms, a known medical condition, or concerns about your health, see your own healthcare provider. Do not rely solely on at-home test results to make medical decisions.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States) right away. Do not wait for test results before seeking emergency care.
